Real family, real result

From "we can't help him" to passing Kent & Bexley 11+

After a series of poor results in my son's SAT exams — with reports from several tutors who advised that they couldn't help him — I was lucky to find Kenny, who was very positive in helping my son. He worked with my son and helped him not only to improve his maths skills, but also supported him to pass the 11+ examinations for both Kent and Bexley — which we're very excited about.

How the cohort programme works

Small group. Personal attention. Real momentum.

1. Diagnostic

A 30-min assessment maps your child's current grade, gaps and target.

2. Cohort of 8

Small live groups — enough peers to spark discussion, few enough to be personal.

3. Weekly marking

Homework marked by a subject specialist with photo-annotated feedback.

4. Grade tracked

Parents see progress each week; we adjust the plan every half-term.

Your child's roadmap

Term-by-term plan

Term 1

Foundations term — we secure vocabulary, times tables and reasoning core skills, and set the routine. First mock paper at the end.

Term 2

Depth term — comprehension, longer writing tasks, harder maths reasoning. Fortnightly timed sections.

Term 3

Exam preparation term — full mocks under real conditions, feedback clinics, and pastoral prep for the day itself.

Common questions

Parents ask us…

Which exam boards do you cover?+
We prepare pupils for GL Assessment, CEM, ISEB Common Pre-Test and CSSE — the four boards that cover more than 95% of UK grammar and independent schools. Your assessment call includes a target-school shortlist.
How much homework will my child have to do?+
Around 45–60 minutes across the week, split into short daily practices. Everything is marked with photo-annotated feedback within 48 hours by the child’s tutor.
What if my child is already in Year 5?+
We run a shorter, intensive Y5 track that condenses Terms 1 and 2 into an accelerated 12-week block — email us on your assessment call and we’ll place them on the right stream.
Do you offer trial lessons?+
Yes — every family begins with a free 30-minute assessment. Your child’s tutor will walk you through where they are and exactly what the programme will cover in your first term.
What happens if we miss a live lesson?+
All lessons are recorded and shared in a private lesson library. Your child can catch up before the next session, and their homework is adjusted so nothing gets skipped.

Ready when you are
